Another sluggish month for real estate sales in our city.
The Calgary Real Estate Board says sales activity was down again in August, totaling just under 1,600 units, which is a drop of almost 5% compared to the same month last year.
The benchmark price for a home was just over $503,000 in August, 3% below last year, but similar to levels recorded last month.
Meanwhile, condo prices came in at just under $275,000, 7% below the same month last year.
