Court documents have shed more light on the triple murder in Toronto last week, involving a crossbow.
The victims are 61 year old Susan Ryan, and two of her sons, Christopher and Alexander.
A third son survived the attack and ran for help at a neighbouring home.
35 year old Brett Ryan, the fourth brother is accused of strangling his mother, and killing his brothers with a crossbow bolt and an arrow to their necks.
Police haven’t said if the projectiles were fired at the victims or if they were stabbed with them.
Ryan is facing three counts of first degree murder.
