When I made my CFL pre season predictions for the Eastern conference, you may remember I picked the Toronto Argonauts to win the division. However, I also said the Hamilton Tiger Cats would represent the East in the Grey Cup.
I based this prediction on the return of quarterback Zach Collaros.
“He’s a great quarterback,” says Stamps head coach Dave Dickenson. “There’s no question he would have won the Most Outstanding Player award last season if he didn’t get hurt.”
Collaros is back and he automatically makes the Tiger Cats a contender. I think we all remember what happened with the Eskimos last season when they got Mike Reilly back on Labour Day. Could the Tiger Cats write a similar script?
We will see what the Calgary Stampeders have to say about that!
The Stamps have been the best team in the CFL over the first half of the season. They are riding a 7 game undefeated streak. They have not lost at home and they have a QB who is 34 – 7 – 1 as a starter.
Should be a great game on Sunday for a 5 pm kick off.
