The case of a Calgary man accused of killing a young woman and her daughter has been put over for three weeks.
Edward Delton Downey was supposed to appear via CCTV, but the judge excused his appearance today.
His lawyers are still waiting for disclosure in the case, and adjourned until August 24th.
Downey faces charges of first-degree murder in the deaths of Sara Baillie and Taliyah Marsmen.
Baillie’s body was found in her northwest Calgary home on July 11th, sparking an Amber Alert for her five-year-old daughter.
Marsmen’s body was found just outside city limits a few days later.
