Calgary Police have charged two men with arson in connection with a fire that destroyed their business last summer.
Early in the morning of September 6th an alarm was triggered indicating a break in at the business in the 6000 block of 6th Street S.E near the Blackfoot Inn.
A report of a fire at the same address came soon followed.
Firefighters did their best but the building was gutted and deemed unstable. Damage is estimated at $500,000.
Following an eight month investigation two of the three business owners have been charged with arson and insurance fraud.
28 year old Nicolas Gallipoli and his father 62 year old Mario Gallipoli, both of Sundre, have been charged.
