The former Wildrose vice-president for Calgary-Glenmore who resigned over the party’s stance on gay rights now wants to run for the Alberta Party.
Terrance Lo resigned in November in a letter that said he couldn’t stick with the Wildrose after members of the party rejected a policy statement to respect the rights of minority groups like gays and lesbians. Lo has a gay son.
He says he met with Alberta Party leader Greg Clark about doing some work with the party and instead they asked him to run in Calgary-Glenmore.
