So the Big Game is in the rearview mirror. Let the dissection begin...
Blame it on John Hufnagel. Everyone knows you don't touch the trophy the week before the big game.
Blame it on the Calgary contingent. Kackert. Barker. McCune. Isaac. Jones. Milanovich. All of them spent time at McMahon. Likely stealing Huf's secrets.
Blame it on BC. Not the Lions, Burton Cummings. Nice lounge lizard version of the anthem that featured retro lyrics.
Blame it on Doug Flutie. Even though he played for both the Stamps and the Argos, there he was hanging on the Argos sideline during the game.
Blame it on the quarterback wearing #15. Insert your own interpretation.
Blame it on Eric Tillman. Stupid Ricky Ray trade. Thanks for letting the Argos grab Jason Barnes too.
Blame it on Stephen Harper. He was wearing blue.
Blame it on Mark Cohon. He was too.
Blame it on ...

Stampeder fans are already making the comparisons to the 2008 season. The Stamps were a below average group for the first third of the season, but they came together as a team, finished strong and beat the home town favorites, in their house, in front of their fans! We all remember John Hufnagel’s famous “gentlemen, we got them right where we want them” speech prior to that game in Montreal.
On Sportstalk this week, Hufnagel told us he has never listened to the speech. “I heard it when I gave it,” he laughed. “I am glad it was effective.”
Fast forward to ...
