However, Tate's showing the pre-season opener with the B. C. Lions has raised some concern.&amp;nbsp; Tate's numbers-----two of seven passing---only tell part of the story.&amp;nbsp; His throws were consistenly high or behind receivers.&amp;nbsp; He seemed to struggle the moment he stepped on the field.&amp;nbsp; Not the kind of command you expect from an unchallenged number one quarterback.
Tate's showing the pre-season game was preceded by a so-so effort in the team annual scrimmage.
I understand scrimmages and pre-season games present unique challenges.&amp;nbsp; Timing is off.&amp;nbsp; Personnel unfamiliar with each other shuffles in and out of the lineup.
