Dave: Has anyone completed a forenzic audit to establish what travel claims and expenses where attached to this file? With little to no work in the past three years this could be considerable as most MLA; s apply expenses to a number of files for payment.......

Why do we not have to show ID at an election? Kind or sketchy democracy. With a few hundred volunteers you could easily tip the polls and they could do it repeatedly. Why do we allow party members to know who is voting. I had some election "observer' watch my name get crossed off a list. These robocalls would easily tip their hat to who is voting. This is a sham.

Why are PC's on the top of the ballots and wildrose on the bottom?

When will people realize that the scare tactics are desperation?

Dave. The use of serial numbers on attractive inventory is required by insurance and stop loss prevention, it is a means of inventory control at the retailers as well as a requirement by customs service on our import documentation, We record all sales of serial numbered items in order to insure that those items purchased are not only accounted for control of stock but to satisfy federal tax requirements, Yes, in stop loss prevention the recorded serial numbers have resulted in stock being recovered as well as the perpetrator being arrested. The same recording is carried out by many retailers at all levels, and it does not tread on anyone's rights, and is common sense ....

I listened to your show today as I do everyday and, although I realize it wasn't the topic specifically, I really wished you had talked about natural gas and using it to power vehicles. I want to hear from our Government, I want to know why more hasn't been done to incentivise its use. Natural Gas represents a huge majority of Alberta's GDP, it is less than 1/15th the cost of gasoline in dollars per kilometer and provides very similar performance to gasoline in vehicles. There are many reasons to use Natural Gas in Canada and in the US, I would really like to understand why, especially in Alberta, we are still importing gasoline for our vehicles.

Since Clark is promoting the nat gas in BC, how does she expect the gas to get to market? I believe there is a proposed pipeline (Spectra) that parallels a good portion of the Gateway pipeline going to Kitimat. Why should that one be built and not Gateway? Yes crude is difficult to clean up. Gas is rather explosive - it leaves nothing behind to clean up (yes, that is sarcasm). Is that her preference?? She is a typical political hypocrite.

    Dave:
Although I agree with you in questioning the Premiers costs for the trip- I was recently at a business conference at the Banff Springs Hotel where I paid $18 for a classic Caesar drink! Imagine if I purchased a bottle of wine?

Hotel costs are outrageous even locally...Internationally they are insane!

If Albertans want to talk about Land Rights or property rights, they should check out something called a Land Patent Grant which was issued by the crown where property is granted to an individual. Traditionally this was done during the 1800's, but the grant stands forever and cannot be overturned by subsequent governments or legislation. You inherit the rights written into the grant if you own the property, irregardless of who the original property owner sells to or if the property is divided (this includes subdivisions and urban land as well). A great place for Albertans to start with would be the Ontario Landowners Association who are on the forefront of the Crown Patent Land Grants in Canada and have helped landowners in both Ontario and Quebec primarily.
