A pair of Calgary area residents have been charged with ripping off mail boxes and stealing a truck.
Didsbury RCMP were responding to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle early Monday morning just west of Carstairs.   When they approached they found a man and woman sleeping inside a Ford pick up that was reported stolen in Calgary a few days ago.
Mounties say inside the truck they found mail stolen from rural mail boxes throughout central Alberta as well as Strathmore.
The mail included government cheques, banking information and to pass the time it seems, magazines.
Bolt cutters were also found inside the vehicle as well, keys and financial information stolen from a vehicle in Carstairs last week were also recovered.
Charged are 29 year old James Ralph Tortorelli and 24 year old Heather Joan Renshaw.
