A former Calgary psychiatrist charged with sexually abusing his court-appointed patients is now representing himself. Justice Donna Shelley told the jury at Aubrey Levin's trial that he has fired his legal team and will act as his own lawyer. Shelley said it is Levin's right to do so and she ordered jurors not to speculate about the move or to read anything into it. The trial has been on hold since last week when Levin became ill. The jury is watching a four-hour video interview between Levin and a Calgary police officer. Levin faces 10 charges of sexual assault relating to former patients, many of whom were ordered to see him by the court.
