A female border guard has been shot in the neck and airlifted to hospital after a shooting at the Peace Arch crossing on the Canada-US border south of Vancouver, BC. It happened around 3 o'clock this afternoon when callers report hearing two shots and then a women screaming. Cars were quickly waved through as Canada Border Services Agency guards focused their guns on a white passenger van. The shooter, reportedly a man, turned the gun on himself and has been confirmed dead. The condition of the injured guard is not known. The crossing is now closed in both directions.
