The Chair of the University of Calgary’s Board of Governors has announced he’s stepping down, one month after being at the centre of an expense scandal.
Doug Black came under fire in September for $28,000 worth of expenses billed to the University for expensive hotel rooms and fancy dinners.
In a statement, Black made it clear that he paid back the university, before announcing his resignation.
Black served on the Board for five years.
