Calgary's police chief says the issue of "under-reporting" crime continues to be an issue in the city. "Did not want to bother police" continues to be a major issue facing the Calgary Police Service. In the latest police commission survey, 65% of those who say they've been a victim of crime claim that's the reason they didn't report it. It's something Police Chief Rick Hanson's been battling for a while. Hanson also adds he's not surprised to see gang activity as the "crime issue of greatest concern" in the survey, as it's being seen across Western Canada.
