Canada's big cities are asking Ottawa to make a long-term committment to infrastructure included roads.
In Edmonton today, Karen Leibovici, president of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities says Ottawa has recognized in it's last two budgets that the current infrastructure funding agreement runs out in 2014.

Leibovici, an Edmonton city councillor, says all three levels of government have a common goal now to get a deal and do it right in time for budget 2013.
