Jon Cornish's 59-yard touchdown run with five minutes remaining gave the Calgary Stampeders a 20-18 Labour Day rematch victory over the Edmonton Eskimos on Friday. Edmonton kicker Grant Shaw had a chance to win the game with a 42-yard field goal attempt with time expiring, but hit the uprights. It was the second consecutive game he had the opportunity to give his team a win on a last-second kick and failed. Calgary won its third in a row after defeating the Eskimos 31-30 at home on Monday. The Stampeders moved out of a tie for second with the Eskimos to grab a share of first place with the B.C. Lions in the CFL's West Division at 6-4. Edmonton, with two losses in a row, fell to third with a 5-5 record.
