Jaywalking across a busy Calgary street Friday evening has put a man in hospital with life threatening injuries.

Calgary Police say the man in his thirties, may have been impaired by alcohol when he stepped onto 52nd street and 26 avenue NE just  before 9pm. The motorcyclist is okay.
