The Alberta government says the province will get a chance to make its case starting today. Hearings into the controversial Northern Gateway pipeline resume this afternoon in Edmonton.
An official with Alberta Energy says the government will also respond to questions from the panel which will ultimately turn thumbs up or thumbs down to the 6-billion dollar scheme. Officials from Enbridge, will also attend to answer questions related to the financial terms and potential economic benefits of the line.
The hearing will run through until Saturday.
