Three alleged drug houses in the city’s northeast have been shut down. Calgary Police together with ALERT’s Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods Unit have shuttered three houses in the 1400 block of 43rd St. N.E. that were allegedly being used to traffic drugs. Acting on a tip from the public, police executed search warrants on the three homes, and arrested and charged 3 people with drug trafficking.along with $44,000 cash, drug paraphernalia, swords, knives, and other weapons. It is alleged drugs were being sold directly from these homes, causing significant concern for community members and neighbours, as well as law enforcement. 51 year old Raymond Michael Carignan, 50 year old Scott McKay Duguay, and 57 year old Glenn Jones, all of Calgary face multiple drug and weapons related charges.
