Calgary Police have charged a local man with Manslaughter following a suspicious death over the weekend. Officers were called out to a parking lot in Cedarbrae just before 3 O'clock Sunday morning to find a man in medical distress. Forty-one-year old Brian Ludwig was taken to hospital but was declared deceased. An autopsy done today showed he died from blunt force trauma. Twenty-seven-year old Scott Robert Hooser is facing one count of Manslaughter. He'll be in court tomorrow. This brings to seven, the number of homicides in Calgary so far in 2012.
