More than 700 law enforcement officers, peace officers, EMS and other officials have made their way to the Highwood Memorial Center. The Regimental Memorial Service is about to begin and those gathered with hear from a couple of chaplains, as well as tributes from colleagues, Solicitor General Jonathan Denis, and tributes from the family. A couple of photographs are set up in the hall - one, a photo from a family wedding, another from when Lazenby was a rookie member of the RCMP. Lazenby was killed after responding to a dog complaint near Priddis two weeks ago.
