Weapons complaint leads to traffic snarl on Trans-Canada Highway

Police stopped westbound traffic on the Trans-Canada Highway near Stoney Trail Friday morning.  Inspector Paul Stacey says it was because they were called to a reported weapons complaint.  He says it looked like a vehicle was pulled over, with one person appearing to be pointing a long-barreled gun.  The two men were questioned while the HAWCS helicopter hovered overhead.  Stacey says one man admitted they had a pellet gun, but it's not known if it was being used in an unlawful manner.
