Alberta inflation rate falls below one percent in July

Alberta is one of only two provinces with an inflation rate under one percent in July.

Stats Canada says inflation unexpectedly fell in most provinces but Ontario and Alberta dipped below one percent. The national average inflation rate is 1.3-percent.

The real cost of living is something everyone who pays the family bills knows about. Based on a 100-dollar basket of goods and services in mid 2009...the same selection now costs $126.80 in Alberta.
