A 41 year old woman from the Calling Lake area of northern ALberta has been found safe after surviving two weeks alone in the woods.
Rhonda Cardinal was reported missing August 1st after she walked away from a remote hunting cabin. Yesterdaym, over 2 week weeks later she flagged down a Husky Oil employee 14 miles of rough terrain from where she had last been seen.
Mounties say the oil worker had just actually read about Cardinal's disappearance when he found her.  He drove her to his work site and found a helicopter pilot to fly her to Athabasca where she was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
RCMP are thanking everyone involved in the extensive search to find Cardinal.
