Many people living in the Ramsay area were awakened by what sounded like gunshots this morning.
It turns out it was explosions coming from a house that caught fire and quickly spread to homes next door.
The fire broke out in the 1100 block of Bellevue Ave. S.E. just before 3 this morning.
Fire officials say the blaze began in a home under construction and then spread to two adjacent homes. At this point there's no word what caused the fire, and crews remain on scene putting out hotspots. Fortunately no one was injured.
