Calgary fire crews called out around 11 friday night  to reports of smoke showing from a home on Kentish Dr SW.
On arrival, crews encountered heavy smoke coming from the rear of the building as well as from the attic.
All those inside managed to make it out safely ....
4 of the 7 residents ranging in age from 21 to 60 were in the basement at the time of the blaze.
The  Red Cross will help out with accommodation.
Cause of the blaze is currently under investigation, no injuries occurred at this incident.
