Hunt continues for those responsible for downtown beating

Calgary police continue the search for those responsible for a beating in the downtown during Stampede.  Officers were called to 9th Avenue and 5th Street SW on July 12th, to find the victim unconscious from a head trauma.  They have also looked through surveillance footage and believe someone went up to him, took his wallet and phone and place them on a nearby ledge, but it's not known if anything was taken.  Investigators have now released a photo of the victim, taken just a few hours before he was found hurt.  They say he was a Caucasian man, standing 5'10", weighing 150 pounds with blue eyes and short brown hair.  He was wearing a blue and white plaid shirt and blue jeans at the time of the attack.  Anyone with information is asked to call police.
