Calgary Police are warning about a man who's been stealing women's wallets by pretending to help fix flat tires.
Police say over the past week, there have been 4 incidents reported around the city in which the suspect tells female drivers they've got a flat tire. He has the woman put pressure on the hole, while he goes to get something from his vehicle. He then takes the woman's wallet from her vehicle and leaves.
The incidents happened Monday and Tuesday in various locations , in the southeast and northeast.
The man is described as 30 – 40 years old with a medium or tanned skin tone, possibly of Hispanic or East Indian decent,  5’6” tall, black hair, brown eyes. In three out of the four reported cases, he was described wearing an orange reflective safety vest. He also has been identified as having an accent.
