The National Energy Board has it's eye on Calgary-based Enbridge following a damning report into the company's conduct before and after a spill from one of its pipelines in Michigan.
The board has  reviewed the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board's report into the massive spill into Michigan's Kalamazoo River in 2010 and says it will increase safety audits on the company.
It plans to monitor Enbridge's control room practices in Edmonton to see if they are satisfactory.
Inspections will take place two days next week.
