The teenage driver of car is dead after a head on crash on the city's western edge.
Police say a westbound car crossed the center line on highway 8 in the 77 hundred block.
The car went into the path of a semi-tanker truck and struck it head on, pushing the car off the road and into the north side ditch, 29 meters from the original impact.
The 18 year old male driver was dead at the scene. 
The driver of the truck was not injured.
The investigation into the cause of the crash contniues, but speed and alcohol have been ruled out.
