Glenn Taylor has resigned as leader of the Alberta Party.
The resignation takes effect in the fall.
Taylor has served as leader for the past year and is leaving for personal reasons.
The Alberta Party will hold its Annual General Meeting in Calgary on September 22nd, the same day Taylor's resignation takes effect.
The search for a new leader is underway.
