Calgary police are asking area businesses for video surveillance and seeking witnesses after a 16-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in the Forest Lawn area early Sunday morning.

The girl was walking near 36 Street and 26 Avenue S.E. around 1am Sunday, when she noticed a man following her.
He passed the girl and walked into a bus shelter, but as she passed by it he grabbed her and pushed her down.
The teen struggled and was able to scream, and then the suspect ran away.

He's Caucasian, around 25 years old, 6' tall, with a slim build. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a black jacket and baggy black pants.
