Environment Canada has issued a Tornado Warning for parts of central and western Alberta.
That includes Sundre, Olds, Didsbury, Spruce View and Red Lodge Provincial Park.
Carla Bosacki, with Global Calgary. says upper level disturbances are meeting with some moist warm air.
She says when a Tornado Warning is issued it means tornado's are imminent and people in the area should take cover.
A thunderstorm watch is in place for Calgary.
