A Calgary trucker faces a list of charges, including impaired driving, after a semi rear-ened a parked fire truck on the TransCanada Highway near Coburg in Eastern Ontario.
The crash happened early this morning while emergency crews were already on scene for another collision. The emergency vehicles had their emergency lights activated and one lane of the highway was closed. Two firefighters were sent to hospital with minor injuries.
31-year old Jetandar Dhillon of Calgary also faces charges of driving while over the legal blood-alcohol limit, dangerous driving and possession of cocaine. He has a court appearance schedule for later today.
