College football's governing body has announced some tough penalties for Penn State. The NCAA delivered a series of heavy blows, including a $60-million fine and a ban on post-season play for four years. Calgary Stampeder GM/Coach John Hufnagel, a Penn State Alumnus, discusses the harsh sanctions against his former school. Hufnagel says, "The NCAA's decision was obviously one to protect the young, which I think everyone believe's in. We had to make sure all of our learning institutions in North America are safe for everybody." He did not offer an opinion on the removal of the status of disgraced former coach Joe Paterno, saying he is too far removed from the day-to-day activities of Penn State.
