The Calgary Fire Department has charged two companies in relation to that fire at a metal recycling plant in late April.
It took about two weeks for crews to finally douse the fire and it forced the city to activate its Municipal Emergency Plan.
Calgary Metal Recycling Inc. & 3415 Ogden Holdings Inc. have been charged with 17 offences.
The first court appearance is set for September 5th, 2012.
