While city council grapples with the options around the southeast LRT, one company is showing off a new look C-train car in downtown Calgary. 
Bombardier is one of several companies in the running to provide the new cars for an order the city has placed.
But the "Flexity Freedom" streetcar is also getting some attention when talking about the southeast leg of the LRT.
Steve Hall is Bombardier's GM for Western Canada and says among the highlights of the car, is the ability to go "cableless" and it would be low riding, meaning a platform is not needed.
The streetcar is on a Western Canadian tour to show not only politicans, but residents, one of the options available and some of the new technologies being put on the trains.
