City police investigating a suspicious death .
Around 11 lsaturday night police were called to check on the welfare of an individual in the area of Spruce Meadows Trail and 53 Street SW.  The subject of the check was determined to be deceased at the scene.
 Currently the cause of death is undetermined and an investigation into the circumstances of the incident is underway.
