Attendance at the 100th anniversary edition of the Calgary Stampede is already more than 100-thousand ahead of last year's mark after another record number pushed through the turnstiles Monday.
The Day Four crowd was 103,480 more than 24-thousand higher than last year's same day figure. That's about 3-thousand better than the 1991 all-time record.
The total number of people who have stampeded down to the park this year stands at 570-thousand 7-hundred, almost 108 thousand ahead of last year's pace.
Today is Western Heritage Day with free admission for seniors all day.
