Bear mace was the main weapon in a reported home invasion in the northeast.  It happened in the 3700-block of 44th Avenue at about one o'clock Sunday afternoon.  Investigators say at least one man walked in and used the spray in a room where two people were.  One victim was able to get away while the other was stabbed.  He was taken to hospital with relatively-minor injuries.  Officers don't believe it was random but don't have a motive as nothing was taken.
