A Calgary teenager is embarking on an ambitious bike ride to raise money and awareness of  pediatric cancer.
Noah Epp who has previously gone from Calgary to Edmonton on a fundraiser has set his sights on a trip from Calgary to Vancouver and he plans to do it in less than a week.

The ride will start on August 6th and the goal is to reach Vancouver by August 11th.  The trip is nearly 11 hundred kilometres long and contains some gruelling mountain climbs through the Rockies.   Noah Epp says he understands it will be a challenge but he says that's nothing compared to what others face, ""Kids with cancer, they struggle everyday so, I thought that it would be good to get a glimpse of what it would be like to struggle for five days."

Epp says he's seen three family friends fight the disease with two of them passing away.    Noah will be joined by his father and Calgary police Sgt Clare Smart.   The group hopes to cycle up to 230 kilometres a day and the goal is to raise 2 hundred 50 thousand dollars.
