A man who was pulled from the Bow river after his raft capsized at the Harvie Passage has died. Calgary Fire Department was called in to rescue 4 stranded rafters on the Bow River this afternoon at around 4:15. When they arrived, crews found an overturned raft at the Harvie Passage. CFD's Don Huska says three of the four people swam to shore, while a fourth was still in the water. Rescuers from the Calgary Fire Department pulled the man from the river, and transferred him to EMS. The man has since died of his injuries. All of the occupants of the raft were wearing life-jackets at the time the raft overturned. Calgary Fire is advising that Calgarians stay off the river until the flow rates subside.
