A financial adviser accused killing a disabled client with a doorstep bomb has been granted bail. Brian Malley has been released from custody on $10 thousand bail. Conditions of his release are under a publication ban.

55-year-old Malley was arrested and charged last month in the first-degree murder of Vicoria Shachtay (SHAK'-tay). Shachtay, who was 23, died when a hand-delivered package left on the doorstep at her townhouse in Innisfail blew up on Nov. 25.

Shactay's family said Malley was a trusted friend who handled her finances from a court settlement she received after a car crash left her paralyzed in 2004.
