The number of Alberta teenagers collecting a high school diploma is on the rise.  The province says in 2011, just over 74 percent of grade twelve students put on a cap and gown, which is up one and a half percent from 2010.  Kim Capstick with Alberta Education says while the rise is a good sign, there are still factors drawing teens away from high school.  "There's a lot of temptation to leave school and to go into the job market early. So, we need to collectively work together, parents, community, teachers, business, government, to make sure that kids know what's in it for them to complete (high school)."  The province's dropout rate is down as well. Just over three percent of kids between 14 and 18 dropped out of high school in 2011, close to one percent less than in 2010.
