A man is in serious condition in Calgary hospital after being struck by a car on the Trans Canada highway early this morning.
RCMP say it happened just after midnight in the Strathmore area, east of Highway 21. A driver of a small car struck a man who had been in the middle of the right hand driving lane. RCMP say the driver immediately stopped, got help and tried to help the man.
He was flown to hospital by STARS with serious, life threatening injuries.
The investigation continues.
