RCMP have now laid charges against a Calgary man after a fatal hit and run crash early Thursday morning, A Beiseker woman was killed when her SUV was hit by a pick-up head on, south of Irricana on Highway 9.

40 Year old Lloyd Louis Gerard of Calgary is in custody. Gerard is charged with Dangerous Driving Causing Death and Failing to Remain at the Scene of a Collision Having Caused Death. He will appear in Airdrie Provincial Court this morning.
