An attack by as many as 6 dogs has left a  21 year old man in hospital with serious injuries.
 The incident happened about midnight on the Saddle Lake Reserve in northern Alberta.
 The man was walking home with two family members when a dog described as a pitbull or bull dog lunged at him.
 Mounties say other dogs belonging to the same homeowner joined the attack.
 The man was bitten on the face, arm and hand as family members tried in vain to stop the attack.
