Mounties in Canmore have arrested a man wanted for attempted murder in Calgary.
Earlier on Thursday, police issued a public plea for assistance in locating 29-year-old, Christopher Ivan Gooder.
After receiving a tip from the public, Cochrane RCMP arrested Gooder at a home in Cochrane.  He was taken into custody at approximately 7:30pm, without incident.
Gooder is wanted in connection to a stabbing incident at a residence in Dover on April 10, 2011.
He's charged with attempted murder, assault with a weapon and aggravated assault.
