The Calgary Fire Department had to clean up about 30 pounds of freon in the downtown Thursday morning.
They were called just before noon to 7th street and 8th Ave SW to deal with a spill of hazardous materials. Freon is used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
One person was transferred by EMS to hospital for observation.
