Alberta Premier Alison Redford has named her new Chief of Staff.
Farouk Adatia ran as a candidate in Calgary-Shaw in last week's provincial election losing in a close race to Jeff Wilson of the Wildrose.
Adatia is a corporate and commercial lawyer and an active volunteer in Calgary.
He replaces Stephen Carter who served as Chief of Staff over the last six months.
